Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to approach the Israeli community of Epernay under German occupation during the Second World War, focusing on the application of antisemitic policy by the German authorities and the French regional administration. Special attention is given to the roundups, arrests and, finally, deportations of the Jews of Epernay.
